Spousal Support Program
How beneficial can it be when experts immediately start working with you or your partner to find a suitable position in the region? Manpower can help with that. From the collaboration between the Expat Center Zeeland and Manpower, we guide partners of internationals who have come to Zeeland for their career and want to continue building their future here.
The Spousal Support Program has been running for several months now and the first experiences are positive. Varied CVs, exotic languages and cultural differences make it a challenge for us to get started with a candidate. Is there a need to catch up in a certain area, or can your CV use an upgrade, or is help needed to ‘explore’ yourself? We provide advice and guide you through the steps to be taken as much as possible. If there is a suitable vacancy, we will introduce you to the company. We will keep you informed of the progress and guide you within our Spousal Support Program.
Within Manpower we have been active for several years for Dow Chemical, among others. A company with many different nationalities in many different functions. As a result, our team has broad knowledge of the possibilities and the content of the vacancies. Over the years we have seen that many internationals come alone to the Netherlands. In many cases this has to do with the options for the partner. Often an expat/international starts working, learns more about the environment, arranges a place to live and only then the rest of the family arrives. For us, the Spousal Support Program is an answer to this. Partners can directly participate in the program and develop within the Dutch Labor Market. That is an important motivator for all. We look at the possibilities on the basis of work history, interests and training and we combine this with the knowledge we have within the region. In this way we help the international and/or partner with the start of a career in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
