Upcoming Activities
The traditional Fair has opened its doors in Terneuzen. The fair is open every day as of 13.00 hrs from September 17 through September 25. The fair will close on Sunday September 25th at 19.00 hrs.
Wednesday September 21 afternoon Bing & Flop are especially for children at the fair.
Thursday September 22 between 14.00 and 17.00 hrs the fair is open for people with disabilities.
Saturday September 24 there will be an extra fair ‘Braderie’ with all kind of stalls at location the Herengracht & De Blokken. There will be street animation and music!
The Factory Festival will take place on Saturday September 24 at location Leut-fabriek Sas van Gent.
There will be eleven different rooms in the factory with rock&pop bands, singer-songwriters, dancing in the silent disco, relax in the cinema, foodcourt, and an outside bicycle course.
Children have enough to do: a bouncy castle, a face paint booth, kids craft corner and a disco. The program starts at 13.00 hrs.
The Summer Festival Saturday October 1 is back in Terneuzen! Location: Town hall square.
As of 16.00 hrs there are performances of la Fuente, Bizzey, DJ Dylvn, Bryan MG, H4zel and Team Peach. Minimum age: 16

Terneuzen Proost 2022 takes place on Friday October 7. Various shops and bars open their doors for you to introduce themselves with a wine tasting. The wine route in the center includes the Noordstraat, Nieuwstraat, Havenstraat, Scheldeboulevard, Markt, Arsenaalplein & Oud Terneuzen. A flyer gives you the routing details. There is live music and street musicians. There is food and other surprises.

Festival Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen takes place from October 7 through October 29th. National & International top level musicians permorming classical music. Different locations through the region. The festival shows how modern classic music can be and this is a top happening!

WHAT ELSE?
Activities at the new library in Terneuzen
A nice place to practice Dutch! The Language Café (Taalcafé) takes place in the new Library in Terneuzen every Monday afternoon at 1:30 PM. They usually speak Dutch, so you should be able to speak a little bit of Dutch. In small groups and a volunteer, all kinds of topics are discussed in a comfortable place, without the pressure of following a certain program. A visit to the supermarket, a parents’ conversation at school, a birthday visit to the neighbor – everything can be iscussed. Usually attendees also meet new contacts here. Anyone who wants to work on his or her Dutch is very welcome, no need to sign up in advance. Participation is free.
For children the reading & craft hour takes place every second Wednesday in a month as of 15.00 hrs. Attendance is free. After a reading session children can make drawings or craft work related to the subject.
